1. Introduction
Welcome to Quick Safari Cars. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Rental Agreement
2.1 Eligibility: Renters must be at least 23 years old and possess a valid driving license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
2.2 Identification: Renters must provide a valid passport and driving license at the time of rental.
3. Rental Period
3.1 Duration: The rental period begins on the date and time the vehicle is collected and ends on the agreed return date and time.
3.2 Extensions: Any request to extend the rental period must be approved by Quick Safari Cars. Additional charges may apply.
4. Payment and Rates
4.1 Rates: Rental rates are charged per day and vary depending on the type of vehicle and rental duration. All rates are quoted in USD.
4.2 Payment: Full payment is required at the start of the rental period. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
4.3 Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle type.
5. Vehicle Use
5.1 Permitted Use: The vehicle may only be used for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with the vehicle’s intended use.
5.2 Prohibited Use: The vehicle must not be used for racing, towing, transporting hazardous materials, or any illegal activities.
5.3 Maintenance and Repairs: Renters are responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good condition and will be liable for any damage caused by negligence.
6. Insurance and Liability
6.1 Insurance Coverage: All rental vehicles come with comprehensive insurance coverage. However, this does not cover damages resulting from renter negligence or illegal activities.
6.2 Liability: Renters are liable for any damages not covered by insurance and any additional costs incurred due to traffic violations or accidents.
7. Fuel Policy
7.1 Fuel Level: Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, refueling charges will apply.
7.2 Fuel Type: Renters must use the correct fuel type for the rented vehicle. Any damages caused by using the wrong fuel will be the renter’s responsibility.
8. Breakdown and Assistance
8.1 Roadside Assistance: 24-hour roadside assistance is provided for all rental vehicles. In case of a breakdown, contact Quick Safari Cars immediately.
8.2 Replacement Vehicle: If the rented vehicle cannot be repaired promptly, a replacement vehicle will be provided, subject to availability.
9. Return Policy
9.1 Vehicle Return: Vehicles must be returned on the agreed date, time, and location. Late returns may incur additional charges.
9.2 Vehicle Condition: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was rented, with consideration for normal wear and tear. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
10.1 Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the rental period begins will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental period begins may incur a cancellation fee.
10.2 Refunds: Refunds for unused rental days are not provided once the rental period has begun.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Quick Safari Cars respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal data collected during the rental process will be used solely for rental purposes and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tanzania.
13. Amendments
Quick Safari Cars reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying renters.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By renting a vehicle from Quick Safari Cars, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
